Health Commissioner
Tim Ingram
Timothy Ingram has served as the Health Commissioner for Hamilton County Public Health since August 23, 1993. Prior to becoming Hamilton County’s health commissioner, Mr. Ingram served seven years as Public Health Administrator for the Clermont County General Health District.
Mr. Ingram actively participates in public health and environmental organizations. Within Hamilton County, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Hamilton County Family and Children First Council and the Finance and Policy Committee of the Hamilton County Solid Waste District. He is the current chair of the Board of Trustees for HealthBridge, a nationally recognized regional health information technology organization. He is also a member of the Metropolitan Sewer District Policy Advisory Council and the Hamilton County Child Fatality Review Team. He is integrally involved in the Infant Mortality Reduction project with Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
In addition to local public service, Mr. Ingram serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in the Public Health Sciences department. Mr. Ingram was past chair of the Ohio Tobacco Prevention Foundation and has served as a past president of the Association of Ohio Health Commissioners.
Mr. Ingram holds a B.S. from Ohio State University and a M.S. from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Registered Sanitarian in the State of Ohio and holds memberships in the National Environmental Health Association, American Public Health Association and the National Association of County and City Health Officials.
