Healthy Child Care Ohio
Hamilton County Public Health offers health and safety consultation services to child care centers and family child care homes in the following counties in southwest Ohio:
- Adams
- Brown
- Butler
- Clermont
- Clinton
- Hamilton
- Highland
- Warren
A public health nurse serves as a Child Care Health Consultant (CCHCs), providing free advice and training on a range of topics, including immunizations, licensing compliance, communicable diseases, child abuse recognition and asthma. The program is a partnership between the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association (OCCRRA).
