Hamilton County Public Health offers immunizations at 13 sites across the county. Any person living within the Health District’s jurisdiction is eligible; no appointment is needed and people are seen on a first come, first served basis. Due to state requirements, there may be additional eligibility requirements for some vaccines.

Please remember to bring shot records for everyone receiving a vaccine.

Cost

  • For children age 18 and under, there is a $15.00 administrative fee per person, not per vaccine. This means that if your child needs three vaccines, the total cost will be $15. If you have two children that each need one or more vaccines, the total cost will be $30. If you have children under the age 18 or younger, you will not be turned away based on ability to pay. 
  • Vaccines are also available for adults (age 19 and over), but in some cases there is a cost for vaccine, in addition to the $15 administrative fee.

  • HPV (Human Papillomavirus)

  • IPV (Inactivated Polio Vaccine)

Comfort tips

For Infants: 

  •  Talk to the infant in a soothing voice. 
  • Rock or hold the child. 
  • Have a pacifier handy. 
  • Provide a familiar comforting object (blanket or stuffed toy).

For Toddlers, Preschoolers, & School-aged Children: 

  • Distract the child by talking, singing, or telling a story. 
  • Ask the child to count or identify objects around the room. 
  • Provide a favorite or new item (book, stuffed animal, doll).
