Reducing motor vehicle related deaths & injuries.
The mission of Hamilton County Safe Communities (HCSC) is to decrease traffic-related fatalities and injuries in Hamilton County. Using local data, HCSC works with area educators, engineers, law enforcement, medical professionals, emergency services, and other community partners to increase awareness and develop effective traffic safety programs.
Our countywide efforts focus on data collection and analysis, coalition building, media campaigns, traffic safety strategies and evaluation measures.
HCSC is funded by a grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, US Department of Transportation through the Governor’s Highway Safety Office, Governor Ted Strickland and Ohio Department of Public Safety, Director Henry Guzman.
