The road to better health…one step at a time.
Hamilton County Public Health, Hamilton County Park District, Senior Preferred Plus of the Health Alliance, and the City of Sharonville Parks and Recreation Department organize Walk Club for county residents at five local Park District parks. Hosts are provided for scheduled Club walks and membership is free.
How it works
Adults 50 years and older are welcome to join. Walks are self-paced, which accommodates participants of all activity levels. Membership in Walk Club includes a membership badge, a passport to track minutes walked, and an invitation to attend monthly education programs.
Walk Club is held from March through November and club members meet at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at participating parks. Participants walk rain or shine.
Walk Club membership also includes:
- Bi-monthly socials featuring a variety of health-related topics at alternating parks from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Bi-monthly educational, discovery nature hikes held at alternating parks starting at 8:30 a.m.

There are many mental and physical health benefits associated with a regular walking program, including:
