SAFE Services

The Bloodborne Infectious Disease Prevention Program is designed to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis and promote safety, health and wellness by proactively addressing risk behavior and offering services and care among people who use drugs. Vending Machines

The harm reduction vending machines are part of a comprehensive effort to meet people where they are. We can offer community members supplies that reduce harm and prevent overdose, helping them avoid potentially devastating and costly diseases such as HIV and hepatitis. Supplies in the machines can include items such as naloxone, deterra bags, safe sex supplies, fentanyl test strips, and first aid supplies.

  •  Neighborhub Health’s Integrated Care Clinic at 40 E. McMicken, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202

     

To gain access to the machines, you may call 513-801-6330 between 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday OR complete this online survey.

Anyone over the age of 18 can access the machine.

Mail Order Fentanyl Test Strips

Text 22999 with the following keywords:

  • “Locations” – text every morning at 9am with notifications on where the SAFE Services bus will be that day
  • “HarmReduction” – alerts and warnings about overdose activity/bad batches
  • “FTS” – mail order fentanyl test strip form (We must have your full address and name to send. Any information you provide will remain confidential)
